Gave the website a complete over haul today.
This one should be perfect. I haven't updated the logo yet. I need to find the time to create a new one. I did make the yellow pure though :)
Just wanted to give a big thanks to Chris Randolph and Joshua Dallman for there advice and help.
Please voice your opinions, as per usual.

Also, I have contracted out a new artist :D Hopefully she can give this turtle NPC a good texturing :

NOTE: I wasn't going to put an image up, but I know Joshua Dallman won't read my .plan if I don't ;)

My sugestion would be to get a new site, one thats more professional. I'm sure there are plenty of people who would trade building you a site for some code. I know I would....

I like the 3D model :)

Don't be offended if I don't use the site you create. I will leave it up to the masses to decide :) as I always do.
Thank you very much Joseph. I owe you one.

Joseph - I really appreciate the offer. If it's not too much trouble for you then feel free to whip one up. . . I don't see what's unprofessional about it. And I really like my logo.Don't be offended if I don't use the site you create. I will leave it up to the masses to decide :) as I always do.
Thank you very much Joseph. I owe you one.

p.s. nice pic, it might need some spheres sticking out of the head for big cartoon eyes? and a tail?

big improvement on the site, no problems viewing it now. I think it looks fine, and your logo looks good too. hopefully now you can stop messing with the logo and website and get back to work on what's really important, the game! :)p.s. nice pic, it might need some spheres sticking out of the head for big cartoon eyes? and a tail?

I like the website. But if you want to hear about its "problems," it looks a little crunched together on a computer with large resolution...of course Joshua's right about what's really important so it's probably not worth worrying over

I know you're happy with the one you've got, so you can always turn it down.
Just some suggestions about the Basic Bob site:
Remove the word "fugly" from the whats new page. -While I'll use the word myself, it's not good from a selling standpoint.
More screenshots!
More pictures of Bob and his personality/history. Make me want to care about bob and find out what's his beef with the bumbles.
That's all I can think of with 2 minutes left at work :]

I'd be willing to take a shot at making a logo as well. I know you're happy with the one you've got, so you can always turn it down.

Nice lookin' logo Joseph... All except the overlap of the M and E in Games... Kind of rubbing me the wrong way. What'd you design it in?

@Joseph - Wow. Great work!!! I think you may have one upped me on the logo. I will send you (and Unsung Zero) the font I am using, that I really like so you can use it in your logo design. Perhaps you could darken up the colours. I really like using a darkened red, darkened blue and bright yellow. Not that you have to, I just think that having a bright vibrant logo lends more to the whole spunky image :)
The site looks ok. I like the little nav doo hicky you got going on. Though I still like my own better ;) Your little nav thing sure does add a lot to the site. Please use the font I will send you or Comic Sans MS Bold to do the lettering. They fit perfectly with the spunky theme.
@ Chris Byars - I did not receive your email.... What addy was it sent to ?
@ Everyone - Thank you for your help :)

@Mike Damert - Check out 21-6, bravetree, and chronic logic sites. They are visible at 800x600 plus. But at 1800x1200 they look really really tiny. @Joseph - Wow. Great work!!! Sure, send the font over... I'll have another play around with the design late... One other thing... has your host got PHP and MySQL?

@ Joseph - I like the logo you created! I am excited to see the revised version. It really does look professional!
09/14/2005 (5:43 pm)
@Chris L. - the site looks good, but nothing spectacular, possibly just too plain and too much trapped white space for my taste. Also (personal preference) I hate seeing a serif font on a website like Times-New-Roman. I would suggest maybe updating the text on your site with a 'spunkier' font ;) However, like Josh D. said, I would finish the game before adding detail to the website. @ Joseph - I like the logo you created! I am excited to see the revised version. It really does look professional!
