Plan for Simon Sancartier

Like I said last Wednesday, I was going to attend the IGDA's Montreal Chapter meeting where they were going to have a presentation on what DX8 was now capable of, vertex and pixel shaders and the likes...
I really liked the eye candy we saw and basically what can be done with all this, which is damn cool. Like I read some time ago, we are now back to a point where 3d technology is becoming exciting again. When the next generation of cards will have more to offer than just better benchmarks and a little new thingie here and there.
I was interested and all, but they were the giving the presentation with more of a design and programming flavor so my programmer was salivating much more than me when they were getting too technical.
Other than that. The 3dsMAX Exporter plugins are out for T2, cool, gonna dabble a bit with it. Started reading on what is involved in starting my own studio. Getting to be exciting times, can hardly wait for the V12 to be available.
