Plan for Pascal Bos

It has been some time since I made my last plan, sorry about that but since Finn was born so much has changed in my live.
Almost all changes where good apart from the fact that I have less time to make art but that is a trade off I haven't regret a single moment yet. We are still very happy with Finn we are pretty sure we will keep him ;) I will save the rest of the "kid" talk for the fathersdirect plan and focus a bit more on my game dev stuff here.
Ok first, good new or at least for me it is. After a year of absence I will be at IGC again this year. I will be leaving for Seattle on the 4th of October and visit Danny Ngan. I'm sure Danny and I will be in Eugene on time to experience the IGC 2005 kick off. In Eugene I will be staying Joe and his great family for a couple of days. Than the train back to Seattle and flying home again on the 14th. Meeting up with all my friends again is making IGC even more interesting to me than any speaker could ever do. It's going to be good this year I'm sure.
The beginning of this year I Have been working with 21-6 production again on a NDA project which has been fun and rewarding. I was teaming up with Logan on that, very cool. Logan is a good friend, a hard worker and has great 3ds Max skills it sure was a pleasure to work with him. I'm sure that, as soon as they can, 21-6 will be showing off their project it should be interesting to see the final thing.
After my vacation Joe brought me in contact with Adam deGrandis who, as you might know from his plan, is working on the TDN. The idea was that I would be making a tutorial for TDN to give it some art related content when it gets launched. This kind of fitted right in with my own ideas. I have been planning to do a tutorial on how to texture a face for quite some time I just never got to it. Well now I did.
So far I just have to do a final pass over my texture to finish it. During the process of making the texture I took 70 screenshots so far and I'm not done yet, every step will be fully described. Tool settings, shortkeys, layer settings, and so on and so on will all be in there and explained as I work towards the final face texture. Apart from just working on the texture I will try to be as complete as possible. I will point you to important need to know information on how light works, human anatomy and collor theory. I also will try to go in depth on how to make eyes, mouth, nose, ears and hair. Like I said I will try to make it as complete as possible.
To give you an idea here are some progress pictures half the original size btw.

Although it probably isn't a document for guaranteed success I'm sure it is going to be an interesting read with lots and lots of information.
That's all for now I'll try to do next plan a bit sooner this time but if you can't wait for that you can always check on my BLOG to stay up to date.
P.s. I don't really have a plan on fathersdirect, it was just a joke. Yes a joke!!

Oh, and a note to all the other readers: He's is just being modest when he says that success isn't gaurenteed. This one is going to be a keeper in a *major* way. :)
