Plan for James Steele

I have a game design that I'm working towards, but you know what? It's only a couple of paragraphs and bullet points, and at this stage I think that's all that it should be. At the moment I'm just one person, and it would be all to easy to get caught up in a grand, all-encompasing game design before I even know if the core elements of what I want to do will work and are fun.

At the moment I'm in "pre-production" and the aim at this stage is to implement one or two of the core gameplay elements. The goals of my pre-production stage (atleast for this little project) are;

* To determine if Torque is the right platform for me.
* To see if the gameplay that I have in mind works well. If it doesn't then I need to find out why and what can be done to fix it. Essentialy; is it fun?

After this stage is complete (it shouldn't take too long....hopefully) I can expand on the game design and start looking at how I intend to go about scheduling work, and getting together a small team.
