Oops! no pics again!!!
Is this the feeling humans call "pride"??
Yesterday we had the first ever end of term student showcase for the final year BSc Computer Game Software Development Degree here at UofB and it went down really well!
Plenty of people showed up to see the student work and I could tell that they all felt a sense of pride in thier achievements (rightly so) and as a group I think they were aware is was the end of an era for them.
I was proud too, proud that they had turned into such a good group of people, proud that in a small way I might have contributed to them becoming more aware of good game development. Proud of them :)
So I guess the only thing left is for me to wish them luck, I know a lot of them have already got jobs and other prospects, so I wish them luck in thier careers and hope they keep on with thier love of games.
Well done!
Phil.

You seem to be teaching a lot of us here in the GG community too... we will never graduate or leave you :P
However, I do promise to reduce the amount of emails I send you... ;)

Haha, nice Phil. Looks like you love your job very much and the pupils like you.

You should feel proud because half the demo's shown would not have been possible without your tutoring, give yourself a pat on the back mate.
On a personal note, I would just like to thankyou for all the help and guidance you gave me during my final year project, I would have been lost without your help, so THANK YOU.
thanks
Andy Nicho
