Plan for Jared Coliadis

Argh. I just typed up a long and extensive synopsis of my Game in a Day and it got erased. So, time for a much more brief synopsis.
You are Trevor McCleery, a well-known jewel thief who wrecked his boat on an island after a boat getaway. Trevor must build a new boat using only the resources on the island. Tools can be created from combining various rocks, vines, and branches lying around. Whetstones can also sharpen the tools. Flint is on the island, but won't be usable (along with several other cut features) until a later build of the game. The tools can be used to cut down trees to get logs, and to fight animals in later versions of the game as well.
The objective (in this version) is to collect 10 logs to sail away to your destination.
Controls:
arrow keys: move Trevor
i: Inventory (double click on the various items in your inventory to set the parts for tools)
p: pick up item
space: swing tool
This project was extremely ambitious, and of course with ambition comes cut features.
In case it wasn't caught, the fusion theme is tied in by "fusing" together parts to create tools. A loose connection, but it fits.
Many features were cut, and there is plenty of programmer art trying to be real art, but it's a good foundation for me to continue and greatly expand on.
Here are some quick screenshots during the course of development...
Taken about 9 hours into development...distribution of trees had just started working and camera movement was being tweaked.

Early screenshot of the inventory screen

But don't take my word for it, try it here.

Screenshots are going to be added, as well as a more detailed description. I typed that up at my friend's house last night (roadrunner hasn't been installed in my new apartment yet) and was having trouble getting the FTP client to upload the file until I was just about ready to give up. It was late and he wanted to get some sleep, so I'll get it done soon.
