Plan for Mark Frohnmayer

So the other day I walked into Jeff's office and he said, "Hey, how about you take the helm for a bit while I ride my motorcycle across the country?"
For some reason I'm still not quite clear on, I heard myself say, "Sure! Sounds like fun!" Of course when it became clear exactly what had been on Jeff's plate that is now on mine it was too late to claim temporary insanity and could we please just go back to the way things were before.
So here I am now in a somewhat different role in this whole project we've been working on for the last six years. Jeff's done an awesome job in herding this company forward to where we are now, and I'm definitely looking forward to helping take it to the next level. We have an awesomely talented crew, great core technology, some really exciting projects and an ever growing and vibrant community.
Sounds like fun to me :)

That's a rockin story, Mark. GG is going beyond the next level, it's taking things to a whole new dimension. A truly bizarre, parallel universe, where the impossible can happen -- (gasp!) indies can succeed! We haven't talked much but I look forward to chatting more in the future. Sir.

Must be a strange thing, taking over running a company, but honestly why NOT you Mark, you know the industry, youre a smart guy and hell if that doesnt qualify you in my book :)
So have no doubts, you'll do a great job at it, much like youve done on everything else!!!
Congratulations again.
Jeff, does this mean mark gets the big bucks now then? :) hahahahaha..

The real question is, "Can you sing Cocaine?" I'm sure you know what I'm talking about here, but if not ask Jeff about his Indie Jam session in '03.
Also, congratulations.
