MiniOne Racing
After more than 2 years of work, MiniOne Racing is finished (visit frogames.com).
The Mac version and some modifications will arrive in a few months, but the project now enter a new phase: the publication phase.
It is very pleasant to have a completely finished game and to canvass publishers with a finished product. Nothing to do with the game development, but it is very interesting.
last year, I signed 2 contracts with 2 publishers:
- a first with a Mac publisher (for all the planet).
- the second one with a PC publisher, for the United States, Canada and Poland. MiniOne is currently on sale in some stores in the USA for a test phase. If the test is conclusive, the game will be distributed in all the United States territory.
But we can still exploit some other ways:
- Europe and Asia distribution. For these two zones, we're looking for an European publisher and not an American one, mainly because of the terrific rate of Dollar-Euro change.
- Online distribution. I sent MiniOne to GG, but after several months without any answer, we're now looking for an European online publisher. We are very disappointed to not have comments about MiniOne from the GG team, even negatives comments.
The professionals of the GG community often say that the most important is TO FINISH a game. I think they are right.
My future Online Portfolio
In July, I will put my Portfolio online. I plan 5 different galleries there: Internet, Logos, Sketches, RealTime 3D , and MiniOne Racing, which will represent more than 100 images, flash files and videos.

While gather my portfolio content, I found screenshots and concepts arts of Luun, the first game project Mathieu and i had 3 years ago (It was a game in the spirit of Realm Wars).

different ... but not bad :)
To Be continued.

yes, congrats on mini-one! and don't be turned away from GG so easily, you should definitely contact them again; I've heard mini-one talked about around the office there so I know for sure there's interest in it.

Congrats! I was wondering what was happening with that one - sounds like success!

The screenshots look really great, and I disagree with Nauris, I think it adds to the mystery of the screenshot. Why would a path look that perfect? Maybe some more shrubs and it would add a little more detail to the area. Otherwise, your concept art and screenshots look very professional.

I thought Minione was on GG's secret whiteboard. Oh well. I think this is one of the coolest cartoon racing games I've seen. The screenshots look really great, and I disagree with Nauris, I think it adds to the mystery of the screenshot. Why would a path look that perfect? Maybe some more shrubs and it would add a little more detail to the area. Otherwise, your concept art and screenshots look very professional.

Great work as always - both your concept and in-game work is fantastic. :) I'm very excited to see your full portfolio.
Mini-One is hands-down the most addictive game I've played in a *long* time - definitely a classic in the making.

Torque Owner Nauris Krauze
Some interesting stuff in concepts, especially flora. Screens look too clean, though, as if some grumpy lady had just scrubbed all the rocks and combed the grass because inspection is looming :)
