Work has been continuing on illumina with new functionality added in every area.
Ai
Josh Moore has been busy integrating a first draft of ai into our game. So far there quite good with shooting and especially blinding you with flashbangs but its all looking very good so far.
Ai is one big area that will be worked on continuously over the next few weeks as it plays an important role. From ai dropships , to ai soldiers.
Squads
Teams squad behaviour has also been improved in recent weeks. Once a player joins a team they are able to choose between multiple squads, with each squad having there own set leader.
To go with this we now have squad insignias which are generated on the player models shoulders. There are 5 unique soldier insignias per side.

Animated Doors
One new feature in our map is an outer defense door. It allows outposts to be more easily defended by closing the base door and preventing access. All doors are able to be hacked via a terminal.
The animated doors are dts objects which we can then use to either blow them up/ open them or lock them to specific teams.
Meteors
To go along with our story each map now has random meteor showers and weather effects, For our storm map rain will now fluctuate in between various stages and it may even completely stop for a given time.
All the while random meteors will rain down onto the map with often hilarious results, accidently getting hit by a meteor whilst charging the teams base is amazingly funny.
Upcoming
The main upcoming additions to illumina
- Bring back day/night
- Continue evolving ai
- Add more superweapons / squad controls.
- Merging in our newest sound effects/main music
and the biggie.
- Redo player models/vehicles / guns as necessary

As with most of my plans i like to include some movies :) So heres a few.

- The beginnings of our snow map
- New base door
- Superweapons
- Ai soldiers
