Plan for Rob "Scar" Parton

Ah, the wonders of not having an income temporarily. Oh joy oh bliss. :/ So, I spend my days splitting time looking for a job, and working on FADE. Everything seems to be going well as I finish up the main design, but every once in a while I like to take a break from the ho-hum of designing (read: typing a lot), and instead work on a GUI or two. I might even use the designs I come up with, but I like doing them nonetheless. They are my only real visual arts talent of any kind, so I stick with them. Today's interface is something I smashed together this morning playing with Photoshop and working with some concept art I finally had done. I just wish my two artists had like....time to do anything! If anybody has any kind of artsy things they like to do and read this, let me know, maybe I can buy some or something?

Anyway, onto the interface. It's a console-style RPG menu screen. I like the colour scheme and how it worked out, so much so that I will probably spend a day or two working on a full set of them. It consists of the usual series of menu items, slots for the characters, all that jazz. Sadly Kalar is missing since i don't have any artwork for him yet, but once I have it I will probably throw it in there.

If I get the other menus done, I'll probably see if I can get it into a .gui or something. But not now. My stomach feels like it's about to implode into itself.

Man that is slick!

I have a console-style RPG in the works, but I've adapted everything in the game to work with one-button mouse input - which has been an adventure in itself!

Good job! Keep it up!
