Plan for Chris Newman (ChazCross)

Hey everyone, Im Chris Newman from the Detroit Area of Michigan.
I'm currently working on the T2D Image Datablock Tool.

Well more about me. I'm 23 and have been programming since the age of 12.
It all started with a "Program Games in Basic" book my dad picked up.
Since then I've learned assembly, c++, java, VB and a few more not even worth mentioning. I'm currently learning the in's and outs of Torque script.
Im always sloppy at coding when learning a new language, always testing out what i can do and what i can't do, trying to find the proper coding style and structure to code in.
Well I just recently graduated with Highest Honors and a 3.94 GPA from college and have yet to find a job in my field. So I gave up looking and started doing my own things which lead to the birth of Phase 9 Studios. I find a couple contract jobs here and there while working as an inspector at American Aircraft.
Well I just purchased T2D as a replacement for my 2d/3d engine. It was being done in C++ and DX 9, but decided to port it to T2D. T2D Rocks!
The only problem is that for the project I'm a one man crew and I suck at stories and character development. So maybe ill try to hook up with another crew instead and offer my skills to that.

All my functions that i had in C++ im converting into Torque Script.
And well of course not the graphic, sound, tilemaps etc functions.
If T2D does it, i let it do its job.

Chris - I'm sure there are many who have been here for years and never introduced themselves. I hope to play your game some day soon.

I just felt it was somthing I wanted to do. I bought the SDK over 2 years ago and became frustrated and then tried many other engines out there but most were too limited. I showed up on the forums every now and again. But I've learned one thing, no other engine out there beats Torque. So now I decided to quit wasting my time with other tech and give 100% to this community.
As for my 2D rpg, it will be a while or it may be never. I lack all other skills needed. I can't do art or create a good story, but I can create the tech behind it. So hopefully I can find like minded people and combine ideas and resources and get a "classic" looking rpg out the door.
