New Shaper Beta Release
I recently released a new beta version of the 3D modeling tool I have been working on. Unfortunately I have had not had as much time to devote to Shaper over the past couple of months as I would have liked however I expect this situation to turn around soon. Here is the change list.
Bugs
- fixed new material not appearing immediately after creation
- fixed vertex creation undo crash
- fixed occasional face creation undo crash
- fixed occasional face creation crash
- fixed crash importing DTS files with sorted meshes
- fixed crash importing DTS files with sequences
- fixed FOV not staying constant
New Features
- can specify a view port background image
Feature Changes
- camera controls made more consistent with similar applications
This new version can be downloaded from www.inversesoftware.com/Shaper/. As always any feedback or bug reports, especially crash reports, are greatly appreciated.
I plan to have DSQ support in the next version along with transform gizmos. In addition to bug fixes of course.
