Plan for Josiah Wang

Well, had a snow day yesterday. So I fired up gameSpace and though I might start doing work on my humanoid character. What I found out was that i'm crap at modelling humanoids (or even robots...) and even more crap at animating them. My results were pretty horrendous (it's a good thing gameSpace creations aren't alive....or else i'd probably be arrested for torture >.<). Anyone have a sample .scn i can borrow that has a rigged character all ready? (preferably with puppeteer...)

Worked on my design doc a little bit today and I got pretty excited as to how it was turning out...who knows, maybe this game will actually get off the ground. Just check out my profile piccie for a preview =D

The name's Beanie the Bigheaded Bird - he weighs in at 30k polys (ouch), but I remodelled a lower version that only had 1.3k. Still looks pretty comical....I'll post up my design doc here once i'm done.

have you taken any traditional drawing classes on anatomy? that would really help your 3d skills if you haven't.
