Plan for Alexander Loren

For those of you who remember mEdit - link - the project has not died. In fact it has advanced far beyond what it was back in June. Since then I have studied normal mapping and how to create them, and even added in the feature as planned. I have got a few comments on the gui designs of mEdit being similer to other modeling packages, I do not plan to change the design much at this time, with it being this way it makes it easier for modelers to pickup on it and get the job finished.

The plan is still to release it for free, with an optional donation so that I can continue to update the program. If there are any questions about mEdit, please feel free to post and I'll do the best I can at getting back to you quickly.

1. Cross-Platform or Windows Only?
2. Any estimated (or approximate) date it will be completed?

I'm sorry, I should have stated the answer to your first question in the .plan, I am still shooting to make mEdit cross-platform. As for your second question, when will it be completed, I can't give an answer for this. The times I have to work on mEdit change alot, as my classes keep getting moved around and with work keeping me quite a bit more recently. I would really like to provide you with an answer, but I can't at this time; Thanks for understanding.
