Plan for Rick Overman

GarageGames is bursting from its container. Over 5 years ago we sat down and dreamed about what this community might look like what we would take to support it. I am happy to announce we have succeeded with flying colors as evidenced by the great number of indie developers which visit here each day! But the site is beginning to show some strain in a number of areas mostly a result of aging assumptions and code that had it beginnings in the PHP 3/4 and MySQL 3 era.
...So I have been working on a project in my "spare time" that I hope will someday replace GarageGames.com and I am looking for a few good people to assist. If you are a skilled PHP 4/5 MySQL 4.0+ programmer and are interested in interning with GarageGames (remotely or on site) or working for a bounty on a unique content management system please send me an email -- tell me a bit about yourself, background and any example work if you have any on-line. I am NOT looking for a web designer or design feedback at this time.

I sent you an email yesterday (Chip Lambert - samurai_chip@hotmail.com) let me know if you didn't get it, Hotmail started acting up so there is a chance it didn't go through.
Thanks!

I think it show foresight to do this upgrade. I understand how busy gg must be, but of course the community is important too!
BTW, a quick improvement would be to set the background wallpaper to tile you new GarageGames logo!
solo.
