Plan for Adam DeGrandis

Hey all. This is my last plan for November, I SWEAR. So much has happened in the past week that I feel I still (vaguely) have a reason to post. :)
For starters, news on Games Extract. Something AWESOME has happened since I starting pimping the site that I never really thought about ahead of time. Ive gotten a few replies to threads I started here and elsewhere that say something to the extent of "Nice site, but did you know about feature X? It would makes more sense to use that than the way you are currently doing things."
It made me reflect: Really, its what community is all about.
With this in mind, Ive changed the first tutorial I wrote on making seamless textures. The new process takes a whole minute. It's great.
Also, I wanted to say that I uploaded starter male and female geometry. One of the harder parts for beginners (and even sometimes us super advanced guys) is setting up the original masses and attatching limbs and stuff. You have a lot to think about in the beginning.... hopefully these will take care of some of the initial struggle.
Right now the models are just in .max format... So if anyone can download them and convert them to maya, lightwave, milkshape, whatever, PLEASE DO and I'll post them as soon as possible.
Besides the starter geometry, I made a home for the concept drawing templates I posted in a plan. way back in June. Both these things can be found in the Guides and Assistants section, in case you feel like checking them out.
And now for the fantastic news... Im freaking thrilled to announce that in june after i graduate im going to be heading out to eugene to intern at GarageGames. Hopefully Ill learn some new tricks and, with any luck, destroy their entire operation.
But for real... FREAKING THRILLED. Ive been neglecting friends, family,... even hygiene... to learn this stuff and now i have something to show for it.
Im joking about that last part. I dont have any friends.
Im joking about that too.
