Plan for Craig Ball

Well, I've been fairly quiet on the forums, but I've been reading with interest all the developments that are going on. Lighting pack, IGC, TSE, RTS pack, torque for artists, not to mention the cool content packs that have arrived, and games that have been filtering through onto the play games page. Things have never been so good for the indie, no matter what some people might say! In my day you had a rubber keyboard, 48k and a 1000 page book on assembly. Ahem.
Oh, and there's that thing called [insert shameless plug for mate]torque 2D[/insert shameless plug for mate] that Melv's developing. It's cool working with Melv as I have plenty of insider information on Melv's torque 2D product.
This weekend is going to be a kick in the pants to get my ass into gear and back into writing games. What better way than to start off with a quick fun game I can finish in a day. And it just so happens that GIAD7 is on. What are the chances of that?
So, with game ideas floating around, coding fingers warmed up, and a good selection of CD's and Pizza money, Im going to sign up with Melv to go GIAD7. I'm a GIAD virgin, so only have a limited idea of what to expect, but Im going to have a shed load of fun doing it.
I've heard of all the names who have done GIAD before me, and there's some pretty big names to (virtually) sit next to. Melv and I have a great idea, which we've been talking about at work (shhh, dont tell the boss) and are pretty fired up about.
We are both really looking forward to it.
