What does this mean? Pretty much anyone signs up who makes a submission before the automated system is in place will be grandfathered in as a licensed member. We have received numerous requests from several project teams, and individuals to be listed as a licensed member. The have made submissions and did everything required and we just could get around to doing everything. Well, we have made people nervous about using the assets when they shouldn't be.

With the latest announcement anyone who has made a submission will most likely be Grandfathered in even if they didn't compete the process of getting all the approved assets. In a nut shell we aren't going to pursue any team using our assets that has not finished the process. Its our fault for being slow and we know it. That should end in 90 days when we get our new automated system in place.

So if you havent joined and made a submission, now is a good time because the rules will be very relaxed for the early members. After the new process is in place it will be very cut and dry as to who is a licensed member and who is not. So if you have made submissions 3 in or not, don't sweat it, you are in. Don't let us hold you back and feel free to use everything as if you own it because you do.

We will follow up and try a little arm twisting to get those who did not complete the process to do so, but we will not take any action against them for using the assets, ever. We hope to help people make their dreams come true, not make them nervous.

Personal note, life has been busier than usual. I quit my job in Houston. the 500+ mile round trip by car was too much to do everyweek. Took a paycut and got a local job 15 minutes from my house. Life is much better, but cash is tighter. I owe people for contract work and I will pay them. If I owe you cash its coming. I promise. I just hate being slow, and even more so letting people down. I wont let you down I promise!

Adib, Burger War is in a drawer, yep. But not forever. I refuse to give up. The main thing I'm focused on is removing myself as a bottleneck from as many projects as possible. That means Game Beavers clean up / automation and then back to the Burger War.

Cameron,

Are you looking for Game Dev work? There are plenty of shops here but they do not pay well. Same goes for other contracting positions. Plenty of low paying jobs.

Thanks
