Plan for Mike Caldwell

Myself and two others have finished our first project with Torque. We kinda did the same thing the Nitro guys did, doing a game for college senior project. Ours is called Steel Gladiators, the same car combat type, and it was done in about four months. We're inviting everyone here to try it out.
It's rough, we know, but we're pretty new to this whole thing. Especially modeling, you'll notice the cars are blocks on wheels. But if you can get passed the ugliness and some bugs, you can actually have some fun for a few minutes ;)
We probably could have cleaned it up if our four months didnt get cut into so much by the 300 page notebook we had to prepare with it. All of the analysis, technical summary, diagrams, data dictionary, specs, reasoning, problems, solutions, risks, etc, ya know, the paperwork.
It should still be playable online or over LAN, and some of you will see your names in the credits, i couldnt even gather all of the names (once we get them up anyway), but I want to thank everyone here for your support/resources/suggestions over the last few months, this community is unbelievable.
still getting pictures in the user manual, but you torque users should feel right at home. The site is www.redtrianglegames.com - downloads page. Works on all platforms. And the script files are included, not that you'll learn anything you didn't already know lol. But I'll try to answer any questions about those.
Thanks,
Mike "Passenger"

I have a little question about some textures I found in your buildings folder. Namely 256_stonegrass etc. Where did you get these? I remember making those a couple of years back when i started out making textures... and I wasnt aware of the fact they are out there. I mean... I don't even have them on my hd anymore.

Could it be your buildingpack from GameBeavers? They contain quite alot of textures made by (I think) you.

i'm not accusing anyone of anything here, i'm just curious where they got them from, just out of curiosity. I must've given those away sometime, just can't remember when and where.

@Stefan, nope defenetly not gamebeavers... the ones I submitted on gamebeavers are more recent (altough those are also pretty old by now).i'm not accusing anyone of anything here, i'm just curious where they got them from, just out of curiosity. Mike Caldwell again, under another account because I lost my old one somehow. I was probing around here and found this old plan, I had no Idea anyone had posted comments. I must have posted it right before graduation and then took a break from Torque completely. Well, I know I'm 2 years late but I still want to thank everyone who posted. If anyone see's this, we got an A on the project :D
And to answer Ward's question, I think every texture from the game came from an older installation of the QuARK software (which is what I used for the buildings, walls etc.). The installation came from http://www.garagegames.com/docs/tge/general/ch09s02.html, and there were about 500 textures that came with it. Those Stonegrass textures were awesome, it was exactly what I was looking for when planning the Arena level! Did you make all 500 of those textures from the QuARK install? Had I known we would have put you in our "special thanks" section of our notebook ;)
Thanks,
Mike Caldwell
