Plan for Brett Fattori

Well, I just got back about an hour ago. Plane landed and I got home as quickly as possible to check emails and the GG site. We got a lot of great feedback on dRacer at IGC'04. People seemed to really enjoy it, and it was something of a face-off between Clark and I for best track ghost. When I saw it playing Saturday night on all the machines (including the Mac's -- Thanks John!) I was just floored..
Everything went off well. I learned a lot from interactions at IGC. I met a lot of people, too, that have changed my life permanently. Last tuesday (after I landed in Portland and drove to Eugene) I got to work with Clark Fagot for the next two days on the ghost server that would be used at the event. It was what made dRacer amazing!
dRacer was so enjoyable because it presented a consistently harder challenge each time you went around the track. People would get on it and go around and around, chasing down their ghost player. The amazing thing about this is that we didn't have to write any special code to make the challenge any harder. It was an inherent thing that made it fun to play. That is what gaming is all about -- fun.
Clark, Joe, Matt, Tom, John, Paul, Ben, Ben, Ben, Pat, Jeff, Jay, Brian, Rick, Mark, Tim, Phil, Nick, Melinda, Danny, Logan, Justin, and everyone else I hung out with that I didn't mention here, you all made it rock for me! Thanks for being so supportive, and all great new friends! I look forward to seeing each of you again.
