Plan for Josh Ritter

We're hard at work on Minions of Mirth. The game is coming along very nicely. I am also happy to report that I am now only wearing one hat. It says: Technical Director
I am concentrating solely on the technical requirements of our company. I am no longer creating levels, UI and character artwork, composing renders and animations, acquisitioning content, filming and editing videos, working on the website, designing the RPG system, etc.
My workload isn't any lighter, though it's now 100% focused on technology. After a couple years of swinging my axe wildly, chopping at every single piece, I am quite content to just friggin code. I don't even get notified on pre-orders any longer... and I'll tell you this ignorance is bliss!
Expect the unexpected...

I threw the hats into the air and they promptly vanished! I will not be attending IGC this year.

It has been a bumpy ride and I have shed more than one tear along the road. I am looking forward to alpha most of all ;)

Looking forward to dissecting your new engine - the python one really helped me get an idea of the power of the language.

LOL. I just took a similar promotion to the same title. Maybe out industry is maturing when we all start getting the same titles? One of our programmers - Claude Alain Fournier, moved up to be Lead Programmer. Which is a good thing because I was going crazy trying to schedule, track, recruit, and program. I do less programming now but the whole process is picking up momentum.Looking forward to dissecting your new engine - the python one really helped me get an idea of the power of the language.

Cool Josh, yeah sometimes it's nice to just focus in on one area.
