Plan for Arland "Barry" Woodham

Ok well not much progress at the moment but work that I had to do anyways. Let me start off with saying I suck at 2D artwork and if I had the choice I wouldn't do it at all. 3D rules, long live 3D.
That said this is the latest on my project.
These are an overview of how the level will be laid out. The bottom left corner shows an top down view of the entire level and appears very confusing. The other three images are individual floors that make up the top down image. Basically the bottom floor is an arena. The second floor is kind of like a jousting platform. And the final floor is another arena that has edges that the player could fall off of.
The image on the left is me trying to convey what I want to cover the arena with. which would be this sort of wireframe dome created out of massive twisted limbs. The two images on the right are quick form ideas for the two vehicles.
This is a messy thumbnail of my original idea for the concept final. I like the movement and action more in this than the final. However the perspective is far from being correct.
This is the final concept piece. I am not really happy with this because I couldn't convey the overall feeling of the area that I was trying to. But it does partially give the feeling of a ruined temple battle ground which is what I want the final to become. Also I couldn't seem to get the lighting the way I wanted it.
Well thats it for the artwork at them moment my next step is to start creating the arena so I'm not sure when the next update will be could be soon with some preliminary work or could be later after the whole thing is done. We'll just have to see. Also in case anyone is interested I am adding my work schedule below so whoever might be watching my simple project can know what is happening when.
