Plan for L Foster

I know that most of you are probably wondering why the week won't end soon enough... me on the other hand I am wondering just where the hell it goes :) There is a ton of stuff to do and IGC is just around the corner.

Dark Horizons - Lore
We have all been working very hard at getting a new update out for Dark Horizons - Lore that you should see tomorrow. This update is primarily a large assortment of bug fixes with a few tweaks. The most notorious bug in our current build, the server crash bug, has been resolved and thankfully this won't disrupt the game (a special thanks goes out to Ben Garney for helping us quash this and some other TGE bugs).
As for other new goodies for Lore, there is a lot (and I seriously mean a lot) in the works that will likely see the light of day at IGC. We have a whole slew of stuff thats in the pipe or pretty much ready to roll (and would be in this next update if it wasn't for the fact that we don't want to delay this maintanence release). I am pretty confident that everyone will love these new changes and they will really enhance the game even more. It's scary to think how massive Dark Horizons - Lore is, because it probably is the largest most encompassing feature rich game that will ever be produced for a while by dirt poor indies. So when you think of it $24.95 for a game like this is a steal :)
Lastly, we have a really awesome tournament coming out for Lore that will allow both Retail and Demo users to participate for some awesome prizes that have been donated by a lot of cool companies including ATI! I highly recommend that you guys register for the event.
Grav Rally
As for other stuff, I am working with the 21-6 guys to get a new version of Grav Rally displable at IGC. Right now I am working on getting some of the new bikes that Pascal, Matt and I have co-developed in the engine and animated. Things are going pretty good on this end and there should be at least 2 new bikes for everyone to check out and play with at IGC.
IGC 04
Speaking of IGC, I will once again be attending this festivous event, so if you are coming to the event come on out and check out the Art Sessions (which will once again be the hilite of the show of course) and chat. Aside from networking, beer drinking and socializing with everyone I will also have an indie game developer contest that I am promoting via my day job to anyone who is intersted (more on this to come).

@Phil, darn right it is, how can you beat cool hands on real-time examples of what we are demonstrating versus dull and drab programming theories. C'mon I want to see you guys to demonstrate your stuff on the fly, I am sure that you could do this if you managed to put down the cuppa ;)
@Paul, mmmm beer. I wonder how many bribery beer tickets I can get this year since Max Gaming won't be showing anything new? If you want some free votes for your game or DTS/art questions answered, pony up some beer tickets :)

@Ben, thanks for the comments. I agree that people will definately begin to see a much larger picture of a killer game with the next few releases leading up to our "IGC - Lore Gold Preview".@Phil, darn right it is, how can you beat cool hands on real-time examples of what we are demonstrating versus dull and drab programming theories. Re: Logan and Phil, we should have a full-on battle royale at IGC... I can see the event billing now:
Battle Royale: Artists vs Coders
Which pasty-white group of muscle-atrophied computer addicts will run out of breath first? DUN-DUN-DUN!!
Find out at IGC '04!

Haha I love it Josh. Let's have Jay start up the session, we can call it the amazing Race... the first people to return get the comfy seats, the best food, and first crack at the micro-brewery ale before the keg runs dry :)

Good luck with it
