Heh, family is flying into Tampa Saturday morning. Hopefully, it's not shut down by then.

Feels morbid though to be laughing at the serious situation in FLA. The fact that you write so comedically on the subject is a clear indication that you're at least twisted, if not fully sociopathic. If you are coming to the west coast, please stay away from Eugene, OR and our offices in particular. ;)
Isotope X looks cool, keep the updates coming.
I was hoping to catch you and Dylan from Plan B at PAX this past weekend, but I gather you guys couldn't make it out? Bummer, it was awesome. *rubs it in*

The whole hurricane thing isn't exactly new to me, here's my plan from Charley a couple weeks ago

but yeah, right now is the calm before the storm. I'm back home visiting with family, enjoying the peace while it lasts. We also have a golden retriever puppy who's family lost their home in charley, we're taking care of it while they get their lives back together. I was thinking I'd take him for a walk out at the marina later, admire all the pretty sailboats that will be destroyed this weekend.
Man, going to Pax would have been awesome! Unfortunately being a Floridian and a student I don't have the means to travel that far (I've been trying to figure out a way to get to IGC for the past 3 years). Dylan's got it even worse, he lives in south Australia! I'm sure you and Jay did a great job pimping PP for us though, right?... right?...... right? *tumbleweed goes by* :P
I'll keep the updates comming though, that is assuming I have power next week... and you know, a house.

hey Josh, glad you got a kick out of the plan :P and don't worry about an unexpected Eric visit, I was talking about the west coast of florida. I go to school in Orlando (right where it's supposed to hit land) but my home is in Sarasota. Either way I'm going to get hit pretty hard, hopefully the land buffer, small as it is will offer some protection. The whole hurricane thing isn't exactly new to me, here's my plan from Charley a couple weeks ago
