***INSERT SOUND OF AIR SIRENS***

THIS IS A TEST!!! IT IS ONLY A TEST!!!
THIS ISN'T A GAME IT ISN'T A DEMO!!!

It turns out we'll release MoMTest1 after all :)

I am currently packing up a Minions of Mirth - Technology Test #1. Finally, there will be something to run the CVS code on :)

This isn't a demo, it isn't a game, though I greatly want to throw it out there in hopes that it makes the load a little lighter. I also hope to catch any compatibility problems, early.

I am doing the .PNG -> .JPG and _ALPHA.JPG trick right now to trim the download size from 350 megs :) We'll put the files up on our Sourceforge site (if I get any complaints about bandwidth usage, I'll mirror them on our Prairie Games web server)...

This will be for Windows and Mac... and will take a little bit... in the meantime here is the "Manual" in Rich Text Format.

Wow... that trick does the trick, 100 megs from 350... it's still a bit heavy for what it is, but it isn't obscene.

You might want to look into using freecache: www.archive.org/web/freecache.php

I have used it once and it saved me from having a huge bill for web hosting due to a video I had posted showing an exploit in Dark Age of Camelot.

I supposedly have unlimited bandwidth in my plan... I specifically emailed their tech support about this and was reassured. If they try and bill me, I have the email...

www.prairiegames.com has served 120 gigs in the last 30 days, with the video and MoMTest1, I imagine we might set a record :)

It Lives!... and even with all the disclaimers I am still, totally freaked out.

Wow ! Cool ! It's a shame that the program copy some files in C: before runing though, because with my 300mb free on C: it's bugging me everytime :)

Great job, I like everything in your game except some too low poly BSPs :) - And ho, I can see some familiar buildings in your city ^^

That would be your virtual memory sir... 300mb on your C: it probably a little low :) The game is a P.I.G. with memory right now.

Yeah, there is some cheese at work... Though, I spent 30 hours, literally staring at a texture smear in Everquest once :) Never underestimate the power of the ph4t l00t.

Yup... your building are rocking our world! Thanks again!
