Torque Exporter Matrix

I've put together a matrix of all the DTS exporters that I am aware of and their features. It is at this point nowhere near complete, but I think that it is a good baseline for people to select exporters and to show where improvement would be welcome.
I welcome any corrections or updates to feature support - especially if anyone has used the gameSpace/trueSpace and Lightwave exporters, whose features I am basing on their technical specs and forum posts only.
I'll soon be puting up a similar matrix for DIF exporters, but there is still a lot of information that I need to gather for it to be something I'd consider complete.

Wow, I didn't know that all those exporters were existing ! Why aren't they in the "Precompiled Tools" thing we can download ?

As poster #1 said, the key for the status doesn't show up on firefox 0.9 well either prehaps putting a color: #ffffff; element in the .tableMain might work ?Well done btw!

Thanks for the feedback :)
The reason that many of these tools aren't in the procompiled tools download is because they are being developed independently of GG and are constantly updated. Any version that we put up would likely quickly become outdated. Once some of the exporters reach a "final" state, we should be able to offer more direct downloads. Until then, I'll try to keep this resource up to date.

Oops, I'll fix that legend right away. As I said, this is an ongoing side-project of mine, just thought people might find it terribly useful. Let me know of any other exporter that you are aware of.Thanks for the feedback :)

DIF version is now up (though it is definitely less complete than the DTS matrix.)

The black-on-black error should be fixed now.DIF version is now up (though it is definitely less complete than the DTS matrix.)

Alex, we'll have a new version of the gameSpace DTS exporter soon. I'll send you the list of new features that are added so you can keep this up to date.

Thanks Matt, please keep me informed, and fill me in on anything I have listed as "unknown" (that goes for anyone else developing and working with exporters, too)

A nice matrix indeed. Here's some changes for the LightWave Exporter:
Custom Bounds: Not supported at this time, if I understand your definition. I assume it to mean that you can essentially draw a box around your mesh and have it be the bounds. Right now, the bounding box is automatically generated by the exporter. I'm surprised to see that Milkshape has it as verified as I wasn't aware this had been added. :o)
Collision Meshes: verified support for as many as you need.
LOS Collision Meshes: Not supported at this time.
Nodes: verified support
Billboards: verified support
Triangle Stripping: not supported at this time.
Animation: Everything is fully supported other than Ground Transform and Morph Animation.
Optimization: LOD and Billboard LOD are fully supported. Auto LOD and AutoGen Billboard are not supported.
Textures: All supported except for UV Animation, Decals, Sorted Meshes, and Bump Mapping.
Platforms are correct with Windows and OSX. And the current exporter version is 04-02-23. Finally, the exporter has been tested and works on LightWave versions 7.5 and 8 (the newest).
Thanks!

How many different flavors of max2dif are there? I count four: Stock TGE max2dif, Stock max2dif + radiosity, Marble Blast max2dif, and the TSE max2dif.

It seems to me that there was someone working on a map convertor for Blender. I'll see if I can find the link (or if I am thinking of something else).

I think these should be available from the documentation pages however.

@Hoppy Ho, Kok Keong, Jackie Chan - please stick to one account and do not spam forums and resources, especially if you are just going to try to rate down useful information. If you can't act like an intelligent member of society, please refrain from posting at all. Consider yourself warned.

@Desmond: I do plan to include this in the documentation soon, I just wanted to get them available ina less official manner first so that people could submit corrections and so forth. If you can think of more features for the DIF page that are unique to specific apps (shouldn't be too many differences since they all use map2dif) let me know.@Hoppy Ho, Kok Keong, Jackie Chan - please stick to one account and do not spam forums and resources, especially if you are just going to try to rate down useful information.
