Plan for Dan Pereira

I just posted to a thread regarding the "cheap" non-optimizing standard version VC++ that some of you are using. You can visit: http://msdn.microsoft.com/visualc/vctoolkit2003/ and download the full-blown optimizing compiler directly from Microsoft. When you buy Visual Studio, you are actually paying for the IDE not the compiler. All of Microsoft's compilers are actually free! If this is old news to everyone, please ignore!

Does this integrate with the student version as well? Although I own the full blown version, I know many are using the free(?) version.

I don't know anything about the student version. My guess is that the student version is non-optimizing though.
