Plan for Paul Dana

Bit Shifter Open Alpha (Boa) went live yesterday. There were still a few kinks in the system I had to work out. Hopeuflly they were the last because I go on vacation tommorrow and wont be back till the following weekend.

I am still writing the accompanying article and we are still getting the screenshots together, but the Alpha is ready to start.

Click Here to signup and play the base alpha version and to get more information on the game.

This version has the first two maps. The retail game will have twenty four maps. The demo version will have the first six of those maps.

Alpha testing will consist of making and playtesting twelve selected maps that give 100% coverage of the game features. Once that is complete we will enter Beta and finish the remaining 12 maps which will only use features already present in the 12 maps completed during Alpha testing.

We have used an extreme play-test centric development method in buliding Bit Shifter. This is an Alpha which means not all features are complete. This is your chance to help us design this game. Let's get to work!

Me 2, I think it was really great, and your concept and originality is really great.

Thanks guys, keep testing. We can't stress enough how useful your comments and input on the survey you have been filling out has helped us.

Paul's on vacation for the rest of the week so Jason and I will be taking care of business.

Get your friends, neighbors grandmas and whoever else you can find to play the Alpha. The feedback is awesome so far.

We're getting alot of comments from people who want more bits....there will be, rest assured.
