I've finally gotten around to getting some more work on the TGE Stripped Tutorial series completed. A pretty good milestone is that I just finished the first Text Based example game.. Hamurabi

Looks vaguley familiar though the name isn't familiar. I know it reminds me a lot of an old BBS door game called Solar Realms.In any case, looks like an awesome example of Torque basics. Kudos!

Yes, but can you apply shaders to that text? ;) Those of us who are new to game development or who are unabashed simple scripters/modders benefit from a good tutorial tremendously. Thanks for putting time into this.-oh and Happy Easter everybody!

Strangly enough it GPF's a stock 1_2_1 Debug build exe as well, works fine with a 'release build' though.
This series is great, thanks for doing it.
