Plan for Adam Beaumont

I think in another week or so we should be ready to put a version of projectB out for semi public download (it's already gone out to a couple of people for review but I want to widen that out to tens of people). I'm very keen to get some real world feedback so we're on an all out push to try and get things ready. There are a couple of graphical things that need tidying up but hopefully Gryff should be able to get those sorted by early next week.
On the dev side I've done alot more work on bots this week. They are now pathfinding and attacking with a bit more enthusiasm. I also added some pathing utilities into the editor so you can add in waypoints and toggle the paths view on and off which is very useful. I need to do a bit more work on the bot states so that they focus more on human players and don't keep forming huge chains of a attacks b who is attacking c who is attacking d who is attacking e etc etc.
Dev has been a bit tough recently - working hard and things are progressing but not as quickly as I'd like. There are a couple of other games I'd also like to be getting going on but so far ProjectB is taking all my time. Hopefully alot of the things I've developed so far should be reusable so thats a positive but some days its tough to keep plugging away. Maybe getting some (positive) feedback would be a good way of keeping the enthusiasm up. When it finally does get released and you get to take a look at it remember this plan and drop us a line on what you think about it !
