Crazy Character Tutorial for 3ds Max ( Includes how to do transparency and reflections)

by John \"Johnny Action\" Aho · 11/23/2003 (7:03 pm) · 10 comments

This tutorial will hopefully help people who want to make non-standard non-biped player characters.

You can view the tutorial online at www.johnaho.com/torque/ and download all of it at www.johnaho.com/torque/CharacterTutorial.zip

Excellent! more! more!

Seriously, this is BY FAR the most useful thing Ive seen as a resource in a good while.

Getting a character into torque is one of the main main main main problems people have when they start out.

Even with joe's excellent docs this is a useful thing.

So hats off to you, hope you do more like this.

Phil.

Link Fixed. I had problems with a webhost shutting down without warning.

I'd like to see this tutorial, but the link is broken. I'm in the middle of my own Torque character export nightmare.

John, if you happen to see it, could you fix the links or e-mail them to me?

Thank you very much.

Kayley:
Could you try again?
I was able to download them from this webpage. It might be a web hiccup with my server or the part of the internet you're on, who knows. But it's up again.
