Plan for Phil Carlisle

Weeeeel. Things are moving along, slowly as per usual.
Right now Ive got a good project on the go (to be announced), but I also have my teaching stuff, and thats what I want to talk about here.
1) I need a bit of artistic help.
I'm confident enough in max to export simple models and stuff for my own games, but I really need an artist who has the whole character rigging thing sorted out.
Its not urgent, but I could use someone's help in rigging and exporting a character model. That is, I need someone to take a model I already have, rig it (basically bone it up so it works in torque) and export it for me.
I know thats a lot to ask, and I cant pay for it. But it should be good experience AND it *might* be used in a non-game project which might recieve some publicity.
The project? well, its to do with AI and squad-based formation movements and stuff.
Anyway, onto teaching.
After a few rough starts, Ive finally delivered a few classes. I can say that its actually a lot more preperation time than I'd imagined. Standing up for a whole hour, or 2 or 4 can take a LOT of preparation. Thats a bit of a concern for me right now.
All in all though, if youre not super-shy, lecturing seems to be pretty decent. At least its the students doing the majority of the actual work :)
One thing that I wasnt ready for, is the amount of low-grade first year tuition I am doing. Not liking that too much. Also, I'm not sure I'm too good at the whole personal tutee thing, I'm just too much of a non-empath for it.
Anyway, if you can help with a quick bone + export, leave me a reply here please.
Thanks.
Phil.

If I said that to my old lady I'd get slapped. ;) Wish I could help. Unfortunately it seems everyone is swamped lately (including myself). Good luck on the AI, sounds very intriguing.

To bussy working on Produce panic to help with the character, but if you want you can use the fruit fu**er 2000 model I made, it has animations and everything. Or any of the characters from Isotope X would be fine www.planbgames.com just take your pick :D

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm actually wanting to use this model because its from a project I worked on a LOONG time ago, and I always wanted to see the model in torque to see how it would work.
I'll wait and see if anyone steps forward.
