Plan for Justin Mette

[Justin_21-6] What just happened?

This past weekend at IGC was the climax of a few months of hard work, all coming together and executing perfectly. That left the experience very "dream like" for me as I don't think it could have gone any better for us.

Over the summer, 21-6 went through an upgrade. I wrote about it a few .plans ago and called it "21-6 Reloaded" for a reason. Seeing GravRally, BuggOut, Mark My Word, Elements, and TubeTwist all being played, enjoyed, and in some cases rewarded was an experience I won't ever forget.

The absolute best part however was meeting with nine members of our 16-person team some of whom I had never met face-to-face in almost 2 years of working together. Get a load of this crew:

(from left to right)
Matt Sayre, Dave Myers, Kevin Ostrowski, Ryan Mette, Pascal Bos, Christopher Brethen, Justin Mette, and Mike Nelson

Ron Yacketta (from the Elements team) was also at the conference but left before we got to take this shot - sorry Ron!

It's hard for me to put into words the respect I have for this team and this company we are building. All I can say is that I am forever grateful to have hooked up with such a bunch of hoodlums...

Another highlight of the weekend for me was the IndieJam on Friday night. It's hard to believe we got through one song, let alone 7 with as little time as we had to prepare. The rush that we all felt from playing on a real stage in front of our friends was enough to keep us coming back for more. I promise next year we will have more than 7 songs :). Special thanks to GG for not only the IGC but the chance to rock the joint.

And now ... back to our regularly schedule program.

hmmm, what a studied gang of ruffians ! I've met two of these people (Dave and Justin) and I can assure everyone they are not at all as intimidating in person ...

All they need is fedoras and trench coats to complete the look.

The Jam was great and thanks to your entire team for pitching in on speaking and sharing ideas and resources, its what IGC is all about. If every year your roll out at IGC gets this much more impressive - look out.

It was great to meet so many 21-6er's and they did a great job showing off 21-6 games (and playing all the others). I always find it intimidating watching Justin demo his games - he's such a player (glad for Torque demo playbacks).
