Plan for Greg Findlay

Uhhh...wow. It's been quite a while since I've posted one of these. Unfortunately it's not an incredibly happy plan. It looks like GRAV, the project Badlands Games was working on has died. I was a member of the team and it is with a touch of sadness that I bid it adeiux.

I'm also looking for a paid position at a game studio right now, so if your hiring and interested in me, feel free to get in touch with me at gfindlay@unnaturalgaming.com. I would prefer a full time paid position but I would be willing to take on a royalties based position should it be short term. This is partially due to money issues and partially due to the fact that most indies set their goals too high to complete a project. If you feel like we could work around either of those issues then lets talk.

Besides those things I'm working on a mod for UT2k3 with a group of friends of mine. All I can say is this game is going to kick some serious butt. We'll be entering it into the recently announced (unofficially) UT2K3 mod competition which has some pretty serious prizes.

If you have any questions feel free or just want to shoot the breeze feel free to contact me (gfindlay@unnaturalgaming.com).

Good luck with your competition! I had to mod a game from the original UT for a class about a year ago. UnrealScript rocks!

WoW!
What happened over their at Badland games? I did a 2 weeks stint with them and thought they had their heads on straight.

I also recall MyCab sating he was going to be heading up the community news letter, and that seems to have been a wasted effort as well.

Mychal has a job working at WindRiver now, And i have been working with Gaucho Games, I think we would both love to continue with the work we have started but both don't have enough time as of now.

I was even going to do some content packs but the time just isn't there.
