Plan for Ryan J. Parker

For those that don't know, nVidia has released accelerated X drivers for FreeBSD.
Unless you wish to develop under FreeBSD, like myself, then it really doesn't mean much for you. If you are currently supporting Linux, your binaries will run on a FreeBSD system that has Linux binary support, but they may not be optimized. Basically I'm working on getting everything-Torque compiling and running under FreeBSD. If you're interested, you can watch the progress at the Torque CVS changelist page.
As far as Blender is concerned, it is still a work in progress. You can also keep track with any updates by watching the CVS changelist page.
As things progress with Linux, Blender, FreeBSD and other open source software, we can hopefully have a great free game making solution for you all. Once Blender and FreeBSD support is finished I can target some time at Realm Wars and my own game I've been meaning to work on ... but I need models, so Blender falls in there first. ;-)
