That having been said, swing by www.c3command.com and take a look at we've been up to.
Our website guy, also our GUI guru, is Brion Murdock. Unbelievable work. Not only that but quick work and very dedicated. He's his own boss, so if any of you have website work outside of gaming that needs doing, click on the Resistance Imaging link under the Studios catagory.
Fully completed models are coming about once every five days. More, if you include the weapons and gear. I'm speaking primarily of vehicle models. Racing Snail has been tapped for this responsibility and is performing incredibly. We are about 30% done with the vehicles.
As of now, all models are remaining skinless. I wanted to see where the lay of the land is going to end up with the Cg dust settles. Initial indications are that we're not going to be taking advantage of this tech because as of now it doesn't really offer that many advantages.
The base code for the game continues. Also, the programming lead is HARD at work on a Lightwave exporter. Jet does not come with one and all our modelers happen to be LW geeks. This is also about 30% complete.
The design document has entered it's final stages. Ever a "living" document, I know it will never be done. But, this version 8.0, is what I hope to be the omega version. Tons more detail. I'm a big turn-based strat fan and I was reading some older material on Alpha Centauri when lo-and-behold, I came across a copy of the working design document Sid and Brian used. I'm reshaping C3's do reflect their format. Very simple for other to work from and it still gets extremely detailed in nice, digestable clumps.
PLEASE swing by the website at www.c3command.com
