>desperately trying to compile in VC++6.

I am compiled and tweaking away with bots now.
I had no idea my plan was public. I was amazed to log in today and find people helping me without my even looking for it.

Special thanks to Dave Player and Mike Stoddart for their help. I hope to be able to return the favor in the near future.

That's interesting, I had no problem at all compiling for VC.NET using the VC6 project files, just delete any projects from your workspace that don't compile. I have no idea what you need to get the import projects to work, MAX SDK or something I would guess.

Are you using the CVS head or release 1.1.2? If you're using the CVS head then try a release as they DEFINITELY build on VC6.

Did you merge the registry file into your system? If not, read the documentation on the engine on what to do.
