Plan for Pascal "decoy" Bos

Ok a little update…

One week to go before I go on vacation.. Just as I thought things could only go better from now on, work can’t bother me during my countdown, just at the moment I thought I was home free, DISASTER….

Yesterday eve my comp blew… It started all on Saturday eve, after I finished doing some tweaking work on one of the models I got in I decided to practice my photoshops skills a bit working on an older paintchat drawing I made… BANG bluescreen.. Before I recovered from the shock my system was rebooting and that is actually all it did for the rest of the eve. I turned it of and hoped it would all be over the next morning, sometimes that works you
Next day all started out fine it worked just great the first 5 minutes after that the whole ritual started again, rebooting – error, rebooting – error, etc, etc. HORROR…….

Ok only way I could get in was save mode (those icons are BIG on a 22” monitor) every thing seemed to work fine but it wouldn’t run in normal mode… Ok boot from CD and run a repair… freaking thing can’t find my harddick so it can’t repair. Better try to install HD drivers manual F6, S still no luck can’t find the harddisks, not even one.

Well to make a long story short I ended up bringing my comp to the shop to get it fixed, which will take 2 weeks so I won’t have it back before my vacation. I really, really hope they will save my data if not I am really screwed BIG time…..

I know, I know this might sound funny and under different circumstances I might even see some humour in it my self, new big ass show off PC blowing up and all, but this really is a disaster for me personally. All my work is on there including my personal portfolio which I really, really need for an interview I will be having when I get back from vacation. I was working on some more highpoly showcase models for that same interview and they are all on there. As if that isn’t enough all my original max models and textures I made so far for RW are also on there. That comp contains work I made putting in months and months of freetime, this sucks so very much…..

There is still hope though, I really think my harddisks aren’t damaged so if the guys at the shop do their work right I might get everything back. Still I’m a bit concerned about leaving all my stuff in the hands of strangers, hoping they do their work right.

All in all I’m not all to happy with this situation and I hope it all works out, I really need my files.

I would love to give you all a little update on Realm Wars but there hasn’t been much changes since last chat.

I’m really fed up with the whole situation at the moment nothing is going the way I planned , I NEED MY VACATION.. 4 days to go and I’m counting the hours, I’m sure things will look better once I return.

I’m not gone yet though I’ll bug you all some more next week, I just had a rotten weekend and a heavy week ahead, after that party for 4 weeks, man I need that =O).
