Plan for Tim Gift

I've been busy the past few months on misc non-SDK tasks, most recently the CD-KEY copy protection system, but after perusing through the development snapshot gallery I'm starting to miss working with the SDK! There are some cool projects going on out there:

- Melv May and Doyoon Kim work/research on grass (and other flora) rendering.
- Mev's latest water rendering engine
- Event Alpha :)
- Only seen this post on Myrmidon recently, but I saw the game last March and it was looking very cool.
- Modern Warfare
- Grav. Haven't seen much from these guys recently, but I'm expecting good things there :)
- Dog's of Prey, of course (now in beta).
- Task Force Warrior, haven't hear anything from them in a while, but I like the screenshot :)
- Jeff Randall's RPG game, there have been a few awesome snapshots posted! (not sure who else is on this project)
- Daniel Neilsen's Chaos Hunters
- Doyoon Kim's Crime Force! (old screenshot)
- Shouldn't forget RealmWars :)

These are just Torque SDK projects, there are some interesting looking non-torque projects out there as well and plenty of cool model snapshots, concept art, etc... lot's of talented people in this community :)

I will be releasing the code for the latest water engine later this week.

I have just updated my link a few minutes ago for my fxFoliageReplicator which now includes animated swaying .. cool! ;)

You should also find some cool foliage textures in the zip file kindly donated by Doyoon Kim.

How was vacation Tim? :)
Sorry I havn't been working on any bug fixes for you recently :/ Find anyone to do the water emitter graphics yet? If not I could probably whip up some programmer art for you =)

And while I'm on the topic of projectiles I just thought it necessary to point out that for the project I'm working on I'm stuck with re-implimenting all the other projectile datablocks that were ripped out from the initial Tribes 2 extraction because I find that the generic projectile datablock provided in Torque isn't enough for our needs.

With regards to that, I know that Realm Wars will be in need of magic code eventually and I think the better part of the magic graphical effects can be achieved through a modified projectile class, so I'm more than willing to provide assistance in that area when that time comes.

Vacation was good. Out visiting my girlfriends relatives :) It went well, I think.

Projectile changes sound interesting, you might want to bring it up with Phil Carlisle. Not sure what he has planned on that front :)
