The year is 2220. The world has not seen the light of war for 275 years. Although there haven't been any wars, Governments are still expanding on their armies, with the land warriors "almost invincible". But in all of this peace, a new type of terror is about to be released on Earth, a terror that will stop at nothing to get what it wants. This terror is an Alien Race known as "Kalvors". These Aliens have been dominating planets and their galaxies for millions of years, and now, they are here... for Earth!
As he is the first to receive the news, the US President calls on the help of the IPC (International Peace Committee) so they can eliminate this treat, before it's too late...
They call upon the help of Red Hand, a mysterious group formed to keep world peace (they are currently the Worlds' strongest army), The Australian Infantry Forces (A.I.F), US Rangers, and the British Commandos.
The Aliens threaten to invade Earth in a matter of days so, in reply, the IPC decide to send a few Atomic Bombs to see if it will ward them off or at least slow them down. To the surprise of the IPC, the A-Bombs did not slow or stop the invasion, instead it fuelled the Alien Ships...
The First-Wave of the Invasion has landed in NY City, the whole world is panicking, but the world doesn't know what the situation is. Red Hand's Lieutenant, Gordon Johnston, has been sent into the battlefield to assess the situation- unaware of his actual assignment. Johnston arrives in NY and receives a message stating that he is to evacuate all of NY City and eliminate the Alien Threat.
As soon as the first invasion was over, you receive word that a second invasion has begun, this time in Europe, Africa, and China, this invasion poses a new threat... people are dying from a unknown disease officially known as "Polpar". You must, once again, eliminate the invasion as well as administer the vaccine to all who are infected.

okay, another fps multiplayer game? get in line with the rest of them. sounds like a good idea but single player is the way to go unless you want to make a multiplayer title then it has to be VERY VERY good if its gonna compete against the top shots... just my opinion.

someone, the game will actually be single player but will have a co-operative option which will allow 9 other players to join and help out, through either the internet or through network.... thank you for your commentTricky

Single player only FPS? I really don't think you're gonna wanna limit yourself. Sure, you can name a few exceptions, but the whole fun of the FPS style to most everyone at least that I know, is competing against others, not going thorugh a single player campaign (where unless it's great and as fun as playing other humans you have a problem). Even games with both I always go to the multi side first. Single player coop's interesting though.

I'm just curious about the name "Red Hand". It seems to be a play on the "Black Hand" which was the secret terrorist society that was behind the execution of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and the start of World War I. I was just wondering if that was a coincidence, or foreshadowing?Dave

The word "hand" is connotative of manipulation. Putting any secretive word before it makes it seem like the name of some secretive organization, so it's no real biggy if you use that name.
