Plan for Nick Palmer

I'm waiting for Aardvark to publish their GSIF compatible driver for Windows XP so I can dig into my new Giga Sounds (orchestra and chorus)-- it is due to be completed sometime this month or next. Meanwhile, I decided to record some things with my Roland anyway for some game developers. These are short sketches for various uses:

For Nick London
He wanted something that reminded him of Danny Elfman:
Elfman 1 - manic circus
Elfman 2 - darker but still manic
Elfman 3 - like Beetlejuice
Nick seemed to like the last best because he wanted that "nyah nyah" sort of music that DE wrote for Beetlejuice. Now I have to add the voices...

For Karsten "Clocks" Viese
He needs stuff for his WWII game, so I'm working up some sketches for his approval-- so far, so good.
Ally Loss - 15 secs of disappointment
Ally Win - 15 secs of triumph
More to come (Axis win, loss; menu music)

For a local game startup
They are starting out with a village and needed some peaceful, no-orcs-around-here music.
Village - waltzy
Village 2 - Renaissance dance feel

For Intelgames
Here's a demo movie underscore I did last summer:
Quicktime - 1Mb
Windows Media - 10Mb

Lastly, I am still planning to make an entry for a Jerry Goldsmith-like track for Realm Wars. That won't happen till Aardvark comes through with my new driver. I can't stand waiting.

Cant wait for your take on the Goldsmith style Nick.

I like the village2 theme as well, very jolly medieval. Wonder how jolly those times actually were! :)

Just as jolly as these, I'm sure. Harder, but judging from their popular entertainments, they seemed to know how to have fun :)
