Twisted you say, bended I reply.
Crazy you shout, confused I remark.
Childish you call me and you laugh….
I pause, take a good long moment to think, than I thank you for your compliment.

Dark and cold is the void you call adulthood. A place guarded by people in grey suites who will judge your every move, your every action, your every thought and you, you have become one of them. You lost your spark my good friend

Every child possesses this karma we call childhood innocence, it’s nothing you will out grow it is something you loose. It is not something that will burry deep with in you, it will physically leave you when you turn into an adult, it gets scared away by today’s society. It just happens over night, in a flash, one moment it is there a second later and it is gone, your innocence will leave you just like that. It will flee from you and from what you have become and it will rise, higher and higher and when it is far, far away it will look down on you. It will follow your every move always looking down on you. It will be in pain, pain caused by the lost of a good friend, pain caused by the sight of what has become of it’s companion, it will look down on you and the pain will burn, it will burn so much that it will glow.

When at night I look up at the sky and I see all the children lost I can’t help but wonder how many where added this eve…. LOOK UP, those very bright once, one is yours. They glow harder because they are in more pain, because it despises your actions, it hurts every time you judge some one for not following your rules, it burns in pain and you dare judge me. When you are in bed, alone, late at night, listen…. listen closely. All the way up there you can hear your childhood innocence, very softly you can hear it…. you can hear it scream in pain, AND YOU DARE JUDGE ME.

I’m not lost….

I'm not lost……

Well, if you lose that sense of wonder and excitement and 'fun' that you had as a kid, you need to go find it again. Immature, shmimmature.

You do not need to lose that childhood innocence, if innocence is really what we're talking about. You can just build on it, or around it if you will. Don't get too responsible. Wander off every now and then. Don't always follow the rules. Don't get into routines, or if you do, make sure they're routines you can enjoy. Don't set yourself stupid priorities, like making a lot of money. Money can't buy happiness, and contrary to popular belief it CAN NOT rent it for a while. If, as a side effect of you living an enjoyable life, you accrue wealth, ok, but don't make it a priority.

I feel sorry for those 'suits', because those suits are (mostly) people with misplaced priorities, living very unhappy, empty, shallow lives.
