Forester Pro is a 3D tree, shrub and grass model creator for Torque3D which produces models that import seamlessly into the world editor complete with LODs and collision meshes. Forester Pro generates randomized models from templates, and allows you to create your own custom templates to make new tree types. Template packs, featuring over 60 types of tree, shrub, fern and grass are also available.

We've just released two new template packs which can be used to generate a wide range of grass and flower models. The packs include the Meadow Grass Pack which features seven templates with two alternative textures (green meadow and dry grass), and the Wild Flower Pack includes Bluebells, Poppies, Foxgloves and Whitebells. Two scenes generated with these packs are shown below.

Tree packs are $10 and require the registered version of Forester Pro. You can find more about tree packs here:

We also want to encourage more of you to be our customers, we've had so many people say "when I've got a bit of cash I'll buy this", so we've halved the price of Forester Pro for the Indie Solo License, now at $20. To make it up to our existing customers who paid the old price (who are probably feeling a bit unlucky), if you buy one of the packs, we'll throw another in free, just send us an email when you buy.

You can download Forester Pro here:

There is a free version of Forester that lets you created 7 different types of tree for development purposes.

Best,
HPTWare

An offer I couldn't refuse :-)

I like the recent work on grass and shrubs. I am excited to see how this program continues to develop with your speedy and community aware updates :-).

Hi, Just to confirm, the grass pack here is different from the free grass pack you gave away when you first introduced the grass / plant support in Forester ?

I didn't know that bluebells are endangered in the UK. Learn something new everyday!

Hewster,

Yes this is a different grass pack. These are "meadow grasses", a range of long grass textures and meshes with two different skins (green lush grass and yellow dry grass). Remember each template produces randomized models Forester.
