We're adding in a series of Medieval inventory items into the next release (swords, shields, armor, food, bows/arrows) which should compliment the potion bottles we have in there. We have a further 6 potion bottles to add over the next couple of weeks, including some more sci-fi artwork assets for your GUIs and HUDs.

If you're taking suggestions, I wouldn't mind seeing some steampunk themed artwork for GIUs and HUDs.

At the moment we're just concentrating on generics. We may not cover every genre, but there will be enough there to at least get you started.
We'll be adding a text tool in the next few weeks, so you can add your own commercial system fonts that you have licences to use in games! Initially this tool and others were going to be for the Designer version, but it's really needed in the Creator version. So we'll add that in.

Funny you should say that, we've got some steam punk ideas on paper, so yes we'll create a steam punk kit at some point so you can customize your gui and hud layoutsAt the moment we're just concentrating on generics. Currently there is no way to add your own custom library, but this will be a future feature. (Not sure if it will be in the Creator or Designer version) - we shall see.
Currently if you want to add your own artwork into what you create with 2D GUI HUD Creator for your games, when exporting to PNG make sure that you separate the layers within the 2D GUI HUD editor so that you can place your own artwork within the GUI or HUD of your game. You can always make custom changes to the end result with an art program also.
We'll be adding in workspace pages into an up and coming release so that you can copy and paste layers from each workspace page and save them separately. This would be useful for creating a compass design with a workable needle. In the meantime you would need to create the following and separate them on the workspace after any effect or filters applied, so they can be cut out:
Back Plate
Compass Needle
Compass Filter or Compass Glass
Then piece them together in your game gui editor, so you can then manipulate the compass to rotate with the player when you add your own code or compass resource from GG.
I'll be creating some tutorial and videos soon, on how to create a compass and adding it into your Torque game. This will help when applying anything that requires it to be dynamic in your game.
edit: re-worded a bit

Hi Jean-Louis - thanks for your support! You should have an email with your details. Let me know if you don't :)Currently there is no way to add your own custom library, but this will be a future feature. (Not sure if it will be in the Creator or Designer version) - we shall see.

This is based on the feedback we've had so far, so please reply to our email on any features or artwork you would like to see and if it's viable, we'll add it to our to-do list.
Thanks.

Also, we'll be adding in a object selection menu, so when you add multiple objects on the workspace you can modify just one without having to move others out of the way. This is based on the feedback we've had so far, so please reply to our email on any features or artwork you would like to see and if it's viable, we'll add it to our to-do list.

Just for others futur users, you have to install the last version of flash player for Internet Explorer in order to employ fully the software. It's a great tools, Enjoy!

I think if you update your flash player via Chrome, Firefox (non Windows browser) you are just updating the browser plug-in version, where as downloading or updating it via IE you update the Flash Player (full version) that is installed on your machine. 2D GUI HUD Creator runs with the stand alone player on your machine, not through a web browser.
