Hajime no Ippo GBA - Boxing on the GBA

I played this game a lot while I was going to school in Florida. It is based on a show that I watched at the time and it is still a fun game. The closest thing I could compare it to is maybe Punch-Out.
You have specials moves, about 2 or 3, that you can use when you gain more "spirit". You also have normal punches and can block. But you can't block indefinitely. You also had a stamina meter so you can't throw punches all day.
The directions they went with the gameplay are great. However more modes could be added for longevity. I would love to see this remade on an iPad.

I used to be a big fan of the Cartoon too. Would buy it's weekly issue when I was still in school. Have the cartoon ended yet?
