I'm proud to announce the launch of the Temperate Environment Art Pack!

The pack includes terrain textures, textures for Ground Cover, and two trees, both with collision and LODs; everything you need to start your own grassy fields and temperate forests. The pack also includes a demo level so you can see everything in action. And it's only $20.00! Head on over to the product page check out more screenshots. And if you decide to purchase, allow me to offer my deepest thanks! Your support not allows a fellow indie dev to keep doing the indie thing, but also makes it far more likely I'll be able to afford to produce additional packs in the future.

And that's the perfect segue to talk about what's coming down the line. First, we have a skybox pack, which will have a series of skyboxes ranging from bright and sunny, to stormy, to foggy/overcast, etc, etc, etc. Here's a preview.

I'm also working on a starter art pack for racing games, including gates, signs, and a couple of road textures. This pack is designed to work great alongside the car pack I mentioned previously.

I have a few other things up my sleeve - a new explosion pack as well as a few other things - but I'll save those for another entry. So in the meantime, if you're in need of artwork, check out my site at www.adamdegrandis.com and get in touch. And as always, thanks for reading, and thanks to the awesome Chris Tauscher for his help getting my art into the GG store!

This pack is very good yet i whish to see adressed to this kind of pack the vertex painting map in order to take account the wind technology of T3D for the forest module.

Is it possible?

Good question. It doesn't currently have vertices painted. I always aim for a quick release for content packs, and opt for things like the vertex painting on trees - stuff that looks neat but isn't critical - to be updates later. It's certainly possible, though, and if you needed it before I got around to it, you could do yourself if you have access to a Torque-friendly modeling app.

Jeff (and anyone else who purchased): I just uploaded a TESTED, fixed version, so hopefully GG will be able to make that live soon. I'll be sure to better test my packs in the future! Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for your patience (not to mention your purchase).

Everyone else: Thanks!

I'm not sure how I didn't catch this one on my initial review. With that being said, the revision is up now.

Woot! Very cool Adam thanks for contributing. The big global game jam is coming up in January...art packs will be needed.

Thanks for getting level fixed Adam! Thanks to Jeff for posting about the problem! The pack makes some really great woodland scenes quickly!

I'm toying with the idea of doing a golf game, this looks ideal for a golf course.
