Again, screams can be heard coming from the dungeon. The solid wooden door weeps filth and cobweb as it is forced open once more...
It's been some time since I've blogged through this venue. We at SvengaliGames continue to move forward in our pursuit of gaming greatness. We are having great luck with our unusual, unorthodox, and non-industry standard ways. Our project, ATROX NOCTIS a horror MMO, has moved from pre alpha to alpha. After a month of online testing and tweaking, we are now online solidly 24hrs a day. We have now brought about 30% of the game's systems online and it's running quite smoothly. We are bringing one map at a time online, as a skeleton, and then optimize and populate the map, and thus world in a live online environment. This is only possible, because of our odd, slow community ramp up program, which controls our online population very carefully to avoid overloading our limited systems. Currently we are project to have ver 1(our beta version) fully up and running by the beginning of October, at which time we have some huge dub-step/live haunted house cross promotions planned.
We are also pleased with our progress on all of our rpg systems, they definitely set some unique situations that have not been see in gaming yet. Adding elements ranging from characters running uncontrollably in fear to accommodating character perceptions, giving them clues about surrounding players and creatures.
The game itself is set in a near mirror to our world, that is stricken with the disease of an impending apocalypse. Featuring power plays from mega corporations, government cover-up's, and the ancient powers that have always guided our planet. Combining live Dub-Step Club events, piped in the real world events, and the pop interests of today, ATROX NOCTIS promises to be a fresh and exciting way to play with friends and others from around the world.
The game features, 36 open character classes, pvsp mazes, hidden classes, tasks, and stories. In club battle royals, weekly team battle based on corporate influences, randomly generated tasks, and mission maps. And hundreds of skills to make every character there own and near un-replicate able.
I know everyone like pix and vid to make the blog more exciting so I'll dig up a couple, but I'd like to invite everyone to stop by and check us out. Our actual website is under construction, but our forum is fully functioning and the gateway to the game ATROX NOCTIS. In addition, we have a huge slide show of progress showing the last two years of work.
We welcome anyone, but could really use some play-testers, anyone who would be interested in helping play test just drop me a line here, or on our forum, or FB page. In addition, we have had several people drop out of the project, which sounds bad but they never contributed much anyways, so we have an incredibly unique opportunity for someone, or two. This opportunity is to get in on a live project that is already up and running. Our positions do not pay, now, but we do have two companies that are looking at us presently, and we plan to bring our item mall online with the beta version. Our real need is for someone who can fix mount points on our models, or add them, or cam nodes, possibly optimize textures, simple model stuff. We have licensed tons of art so we need no original work. Our current team is composed of a programmer, professional entertainer, advertising advisor, and a writer.

Whilst saving as a lower quality (80%) jpg would massively reduce file size and thus load time over png, it'd be helpful to mention the "Warning: Not 56k Friendly" in your blog's preview text.
Obviously you and me and most of the civilized world aren't on 56k modems, but someone will be somewhere.
