Ninja Puzzle (TGB) Launched on Intel AppUp!

by Pisal Setthawong · 02/27/2011 (9:12 pm) · 2 comments

After launching our TGB game - Ninja Puzzle at the Mac AppStore to moderate success (Peaked at 13th on the Top Paid Game Category at the US Mac App Store, Featured in "New and Noteworthy", "What's Hot", and "Staff's Pick"), we thought it was a good time to go back and try to distribute the PC version of our game. The odd fact is that we finished our game on the PC version first, but after trying to find distributors for many months on that platform, I have to admit that we still haven't managed to finish a deal. As good indie developers we are, we are never deterred, and now we just recently ported our game into the Intel AppUp portal for the PC version after a few "comfortable" coding and debugging sessions from the local Starbucks :P

You can visit the following link for information about our little game on the AppUp platform and I would be extremely grateful if you could buy our game there for only $3.99 USD :P

For those who haven't seen our game yet, here is a video preview of the game:

On a short note, we are currently developing a few new games at the present and would be able to post a few screenshots when we have done more of it in a few months time.

Hi Pisal

This looks fantastic, it's certainly a new take on a classic formula. I like the art style and look forward to seeing more of your work!!

Thanks Gavin!

Regarding the classic formula, I just wanted to point one of the responses from an established publisher. They said, this game is interesting, but we are mixing games from two distinct and separate genres that are unrelated which is bad when marketing. In other words, they said we shouldn't be experimenting with the classic formula >.<

Oh well, just a side tale on that LOL
