RPG Editor - MSL Event System

Hello everyone it has indeed been a while since my last post or anything having to do with Torque Powered. I am here to let you know that I have not given up on the RPG Editor but because of life, I was forced to put it on the back burner.
Today I want to let you see a piece of the system that has indeed taken me a while to plot out the right path to execute. This system is the MSL Event System aka Mad Lib Script Event System.
This system stems from my readings in the book "Programming Role Playing Games with Direct" where the author explains what MLS is and how its used to create events. The system in the book is extremely crude but its a start for anyone with time and idea's to expand on. This is what I have conjured.

As you can see its not much but it all has enough versatility to get you through. Next time I blog you should see some video of the system in action.

I have most of the books from that series - Game Scripting Mastery is another interesting read. It develops a more complex scripting system from the ground up, but still nothing like Torquescript.
Anyway, great stuff man!

I actually own both editions of that book.... lol. It's a great walkthrough for making "location based" RPGs like Parasite Eve or Bioforge, though the combat system more strongly resembles PE than Bioforge.I have most of the books from that series - Game Scripting Mastery is another interesting read.
