NightLife Update, and screen shot dump.

We have just about finished upgrading to the new version of the game engine. It runs great; we are just chasing down a few last bugs. As anyone who reads the GG site knows, the UAISK has been upgraded again, so the next task is to upgrade that portion of NL. Then we will be back to streamlining the network play. Though we still may release a vid (or not) of the combat system as is, it has once again been rejected and sent back to coding. Though the system is “playable”, it has some big visual holes over the network and from other players’ perspectives. In addition, the combat system is interacting poorly with the skill/spell system. Not to fear though, we have a definitive plan to fix these issues. We decided to dump all the screen shots from the last version to an album on the Facebook page so head over there and check them out. I will post a couple here, some are documentation pictures of the level construction, you can see the continuing evolution of the main HUD, and there is every ones favorite play tester featured, Svent (sporting the MACK model from BAG in casual dress), in an AFX level test zone. Oh, also featuring our Lvl 1-2 mob monster, the sewer and plaque rat.
